Joanne Marilyn Ross Campbell
June 11, 1931 – June 21, 2022
At the upcoming Fall Celebration, the Tribal Council will honor Joanne for her years of service on Tribal Council and to our tribal community.
Joanne was first elected to serve as a Tribal Council member in 1998. She would go on to serve multiple terms over the next 18 years before retiring in 2016. During her time on Tribal Council, Joanne was passionate about the tribe’s cultural revitalization projects, traditional basketry classes and the Coast Miwok and Southern Pomo language classes for our citizenry.
She was an active tribal citizen that we would always see in the audience attending the annual Citizen Events, General Council and Tribal Council meetings.
